From our in-house architectural designers who will custom design your concept plan and working drawings at no cost, to our experienced construction team who take care of the surveys needed, the engineering required, and everything related to the build. Building an architectural home doesn't need to be an expensive and drawn out process. Our team of in-house architects work with you to create a custom floor plan. With our in-house architects and our construction team working in the same office, it provides tangible benefits for our clients.

When you decide to move the position of a door or change the size of a window, there can be an immediate discussion around the impact that has on engineering and on costs, which can save a lot of back and forth!

THE TEAM

Matt Vaughan was born in Lincoln and went to school in town, and has recently come back to New Zealand after 19 years in the UK and Melbourne. Family always comes first and has recently married Chelsea and has an eight year old son, Leo. Matt resides in Christchurch central and loves dealing with people who are looking to build more than just a house. We don't build the same home twice, and with your needs in mind, we take you on the journey from architectural design, visual concepts, right through to delivery and beyond, with our 10 year Master Build Guarantee.

1. START FROM SCRATCH
 
We do not build the same home twice. Your plans will be customised to suit your budget, and your floor plan wish list. Starting with a blank piece of paper, the experienced Build7 team will work with you to understand your objectives; what you like, what you don't like, and what you will not compromise on.
2. OUR DESIGN TEAM
 
Following your discussions with the local Build7 team, your design brief will be sent off to our in-house architects, based in our Construction Office. With your budget in mind, a floor plan is put together for you. 
3. BACK TO YOU
 
This is the exciting part. We present you with a concept based on your requirements, and your section. After a few changes here and there, it's back to the design team to bring your plans to life with a real look render of your proposed home. 
4. PRICING AND SPECIFICATION
 
You have seen the plans, and the renders showing you exactly what your home would look and feel like. Now it's time for specifications and pricing so you can work out how much you will have left over for any optional upgrades to fixtures, fittings, landscaping and furnishings.
5. GOING TO CONTRACT
 
Only once you have agreed on the plan and seen the final list of specifications, and all pricing, will your plan go to the next stage. Build7 are so confident in our transparent process that we don't require any payment for your design stage, instead we focus on creating a house that will really work for you.  
6. BREAKING GROUND
 
When your deposit is paid, the Build7 Construction Office will become your main point of contact throughout the process. Keeping you informed and updated, they will project manage the entire build so you can enjoy the fun parts like working with your interior design team, while they take care of the rest. 
7. MOVE IN DAY
