HOUSE & LAND PACKAGES

While we do not offer house and land packages in the traditional sense, we work hard to identify existing and up coming land opportunities, and can provide assistance to people looking for investment builds, first homes, holiday houses and more standardised houses. Our architectural team, our interior design services, and the journey to completion is the same. Our hands on approach means each person who chooses to build with us is more than just a number. We are on a mission to improve all new homes, we know simple tricks that offer the feeling of added space, extra light, and modern living. We work with premium materials, and we are proud of the many examples of Build7 homes around Marlborough that use creativity and design flair to maximise tricky sections, hill sites , and distant views. From the waters of the Marlborough Sounds to the high country regions and everything in between, our architectural team is able to create something special for each and every design brief to land on their table. 

Whatever your preference, from classic NZ Villas, passive style homes to modern glass houses and design that incorporates Sumner Schist, Cedar and metal features, our design and build service puts your preferences at the centre of everything we do, to create a home that works in harmony with your life.
 

1. START FROM SCRATCH
 
We do not build the same home twice. Your plans will be customised to suit your budget, and your floor plan wish list. Starting with a blank piece of paper, the experienced Build7 team will work with you to understand your objectives; what you like, what you don't like, and what you will not compromise on.
2. OUR DESIGN TEAM
 
Following your discussions with the local Build7 team, your design brief will be sent off to our in-house architects, based in our Construction Office. With your budget in mind, a floor plan is put together for you. 
3. BACK TO YOU
 
This is the exciting part. We present you with a concept based on your requirements, and the section(s) you would like. After a few changes here and there, it's back to the design team to bring your plans to life with a real look render of your proposed home. 
4. PRICING AND SPECIFICATION
 
You have seen the plans, and the renders showing you exactly what your home would look and feel like. Now it's time for specifications and pricing so you can work out how much you will have left over for any optional upgrades to fixtures, fittings, landscaping and furnishings.
5. GOING TO CONTRACT
 
Only once you have agreed on the plan and seen the final list of specifications, and all pricing, will your plan go to the next stage. Build7 are so confident in our transparent process that we don't require any payment for your design stage, instead we focus on creating a house that will really work for you.  
6. BREAKING GROUND
 
When your deposit is paid, the Build7 Construction Office will become your main point of contact throughout the process. Keeping you informed and updated, they will project manage the entire build so you can enjoy the fun parts like working with your interior design team, while they take care of the rest. 
7. MOVE IN DAY

After weeks visiting the site and seeing the final stages come together it seemed like everyone was racing to the finish line while we waltzed through choosing what colour rugs and cushions we wanted. The whole process was completely different to what I had expected, it was actually really fun. We were both grateful to have the support, and excited by the level of enthusiasm going into our project from all corners. We do not ask for a financial commitment until you are completely happy with your designs, and we go to the next stage. Until then our focus remains on understanding what you want out of your home, what you love, and what you are not willing to compromise on.
