Build7 are changing the game, with a streamlined approach to the entire process, from concept to completion. You will receive a custom designed home  from our team of in-house architects, and you will be able to see a complete costed breakdown of your build. Transparency and building custom designed homes is important to us, and we know that budget considerations, structured timelines, and excellent communication is important to you. Build7 Canterbury operates alongside our experienced Construction Office to deliver exceptional homes, and exceptional service.

HOUSE & LAND PACKAGES

While we do not offer house and land packages in the traditional sense, we work hard to identify existing and up coming land opportunities, and can provide assistance to people looking for investment builds, first homes, holiday houses and more standardised houses. Our architectural team, our interior design services, and the journey to completion is the same. Our hands on approach means each person who chooses to build with us is more than just a number. We are on a mission to improve all new homes, we know simple tricks that offer the feeling of added space, extra light, and modern living. We work with premium materials, and we are proud of the many examples of Build7 homes around Christchurch that use creativity and design flair to maximise tricky sections, hill sites , and distant views. Canterbury is a great place to build a new home. With parcels of reasonably priced land available, and our Construction Office located close by in Christchurch, our team can provide a seamless journey to new home ownership.

Using the support and systems of the national team and combining a local approach to everything we do, your new home will be designed to your individual requirements. We don't build the same home twice, and with your needs in mind, we take you on the journey from architectural design, visual concepts, right through to delivery and beyond, with our 10 year Master Build Guarantee.

CANTERBURY

Our region is a little extra special, and so too are the homes we design and build for our area. With a focus on creating healthy homes that are easy to heat and maintain, that weather well, and that capture impressive views in all directions, every design is unique. We know the great outdoors plays a large part in your life and we will make sure your home building experience allows you to have as minimal impact on the planet possible. Whatever your preferences, from a full passive style build, to a simple electric car charging system in the garage, our qualified  team will help create a home that works in harmony with your lifestyle. 

1. START FROM SCRATCH
 
We do not build the same home twice. Your plans will be customised to suit your budget, and your floor plan wish list. Starting with a blank piece of paper, the experienced Build7 team will work with you to understand your objectives; what you like, what you don't like, and what you will not compromise on.
2. OUR DESIGN TEAM
 
Following your discussions with the local Build7 team, your design brief will be sent off to our in-house architects, based in our Construction Office. With your budget in mind, a floor plan is put together for you. 
3. BACK TO YOU
 
This is the exciting part. We present you with a concept based on your requirements, and the section(s) you would like within the Queenstown area. After a few changes here and there, it's back to the design team to bring your plans to life with a real look render of your proposed home. 
4. PRICING AND SPECIFICATION
 
You have seen the plans, and the renders showing you exactly what your home would look and feel like. Now it's time for specifications and pricing so you can work out how much you will have left over for any optional upgrades to fixtures, fittings, landscaping and furnishings.
5. GOING TO CONTRACT
 
Only once you have agreed on the plan and seen the final list of specifications, and all pricing, will your plan go to the next stage. Build7 are so confident in our transparent process that we don't require any payment for your design stage, instead we focus on creating a house that will really work for you.  
6. BREAKING GROUND
 
When your deposit is paid, the Build7 Construction Office will become your main point of contact throughout the process. Keeping you informed and updated, they will project manage the entire build so you can enjoy the fun parts like working with your interior design team, while they take care of the rest. 
7. MOVE IN DAY

After weeks visiting the site and seeing the final stages come together it seemed like everyone was racing to the finish line while we waltzed through choosing what colour rugs and cushions we wanted. We do not ask for a financial commitment until you are completely happy with your designs, and we go to the next stage. Until then our focus remains on understanding what you want out of your home, what you love, and what you are not willing to compromise on.

Matt was born in Lincoln and went to school in town, and has recently come back to New Zealand after 19 years in the UK and Melbourne. Family always comes first and has recently married Chelsea and has an eight year old son, Leo. Matt resides in Christchurch central and loves dealing with people who are looking to build more than just a house.

Tony comes to Build7 with a highly experienced background in construction, finance and lending. He has worked alongside Build7 in the construction market for many years before deciding he would love to join the Build7 family in the role of Christchurch Sales Manager.
